Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she will cover everything from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial companies in space and the rise to space tourism. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the granddaughter and daughter of NASA astronauts. Over the last five years, she's been covering space policy under the Trump and Biden Administrations in FOX News. She also covered the presidential election in 2020 and the efforts of two administrations in fighting the coronavirus. Additionally, she traveled extensively with the President and Vice President and was a part of a classified trip to Afghanistan with former President Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter before joining CBS in 2015. Using her skills on the set, Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014, which focused on making documentary-style movies for corporate clients including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds an Bachelor in Science in Journalism, which she obtained from Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
